Any idea what the OEM rims weigh?

One major consideration is the weight of tires and wheels... not something you generally need to think about with our Tacos... but on a well balanced, lightweight sports car like the FR-S/BR-Z it can make a big difference.

^X2, no point in the FiveAD wheels when Volks are just a few dollars more.

If you can swing the $1600 for Volks, I stand by previous suggestion with the Konig Illusion:

if u do this, make sure bend the "squirrel finders" down. its what gives those 2 bright spots and will cause alot of glare for drivers. if u stick ur finger in the bulb hole, u will feel a piece of metal and all u gotta do is push down and it will get rid of those spots.

if you do this. let me know. i want to get a box built too and it seems fiberglass is the best way to go if you still want to use the trunk as a trunk.

did you happen to have your phone on the seat? seems that phones on the seat have been causing this. from what i have read its interference from the phone interfering with the sensors

    Love the car man. :D

I was at a subaru dealership and was checking out the new xv crosstrek and could not help but wander over to the WRXs and BRZs. I started talking to sells associate and he had nothing but good things to say about the BRZ (FRS) but then told me some bad news/rumors... He said that he had heard that Subaru was only going to keep the car around for maybe two more years and that they were doing a trial run with this car to see if the public would like a 2 wheel drive subaru. Not sure why. He said is was the first two wheel drive car subaru had made and many subaru fanatics frowned upon it. But that was just one man's knowledge. It may be sell's talk or bullshit but idk. Just be happy you got the yota instead.

Could be selling talk. I haven't heard that rumor...I haven't heard hardly any negative talk about either car at all.

Thinking tint, and per the local laws that I enforce lol, I can get tint that allows 70% light transmittance on the windshield and 27% light transmittance all around.

If I wanna do anything less then 27% transmittance, it has to be behind the drivers window and the front windows have to be 70% transmittance or more.

I think I'll leave the windshield alone and go with 27% all around.

So did you get rid of your Tacoma for the FRS?

I've been thinking about getting one of the twins, but living in Colorado has stopped me as I would have to trade in my taco to get one.

Is this your daily or just a fun car? Have you done any snow driving in it?

    Thanks!

The matte black roof looks awesome imo.

Yea I traded the Taco in for it. I have done a bit of snow driving, as I got it the day after Xmas, and since you live in CO, I would imagine you got snow on Xmas just like we did up here in NoCo. This is my daily car, after driving a car in Alaska prior to having my truck and having a coupe here in CO prior to joining the service, I didn't really have an issue with getting it.
