Due to the smaller market (~10% of US), Canadian option pkgs are more streamlined/limited. You can try the Canadian online configurator: http://www.toyota.ca/toyota/en/build-price/cp4#models-options

    - Double Cab not available with TRD Off Rd pkg
    - Access Cab not available with TRD Sport pkg
    - GPS navigation not offered with Access Cab
    - SR5 comes with tow pkg and aluminum wheels
    - TRD Off Rd comes with everything on the SR5, plus bolstered seats, 265 tires, rear locker, A-Trac, bed outlet, etc.
    - Difference between SR5 and TRD Off Rd is $3000.

Budget $3000 to get front and rear ARB air lockers installed with air compressor.

I bought a 2014 SR5 a month ago. It has the auto-dimming mirror with compass, but not the outside temperature gauge.

maybe you should look at the 2014 options then if you're buying new, considering it is 2014? :D

maybe they changed some of them up and haven't posted to the site. unless you find a leftover with the options your looking for.

The outside temp gauge was deleted from a lot of 2014 trucks for some reason. Might as well get a 2013, esp if you can get a good discount on it.

Hey guys found a trd off-road, only thing is that I'm not crazy about the red. Probably the only one within 1000kms I'll have to compromise sooner or later I think somewhereuploadfromtaptalk1393296356266.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1393296077989.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1393296109057.jpg

shouldn't this really be SR5: TRD vs non-TRD
SR5 is a trim option and can be had with the TRD off road, you don't have to choose either/or. Maybe I'm behind the times here and they removed the SR5 badge from the TRD off-road, but you still get all of the SR5 perks in the TRD off-road package, plus the extra TRD off-road stuff, so technically it's still an SR5 even if it doesn't have the badge

I had the same question back in July when I purchased my 2013 AC. Since I knew I would be adding my own lift and tires plus a myriad of other extras it made more sense to go with an SR5. Here in VA I paid $28k for my 4x4 SR5 vs the $32-34k any of the TRD models were going for. Why pay more for parts I was going to replace right out the gate? Hence my decision.

the TRD packages include the SR5 options already. It's just the TRD Sport/OffRoad offers more in the way of options (suspension, e-locker, ATRAC, etc) that some may not need to spend the extra money on.
