    Hey all,
Recently diagnosed a clunking/creaking noise with my 2013 Tacoma. When diagnosing it I did see a few threads that mentioned the issue but not many with examples and pictures. So wanted to do a quick write up to document my experience.

    TLDR:
My driver side front steering stop was rubbing

    Full Backstory/The issue:
So recently I fit brand new stock size (LT245/75 R16) KO2s and got a fresh alignment on my truck. After driving home from the alignment shop, turning into my garage, I heard a horrible clunk come from the front of the truck. I confirmed the new treads weren't catching/rubbing anywhere and after some testing I was able to narrow down that the clunk/creak only occurred at or near full lock on a right hand turn and the noise sounded like it was coming from the drivers side front suspension. Since I just had the alignment I feared maybe the eccentric bolts weren't fully tightened so I went in and torqued them all to spec. Unfortunately the issue remained. After doing some more research I was able to find a few threads where users mentioned steering stops that rub through their factory plastic bumpers and begin to make noise.
Lo and behold this was the case, I looked at the stop and I could see rubbing marks where the stop was making contact, I applied some anti-seize to the stop and the noise was gone

I was able to find a part on Ebay which looks like it would replace these stops but its not clear if they are actually correct. When I look up the part number I see it come up as a "Hardware Pack" or "Steering Stop Extension Plate" on a greater list of parts for a few suspension kits if someone has experience with these let us know.

Yeah, my truck either didn’t come with bumpers, or they fell off?
I don’t even see a place for a bumper to mount?

I’d check the steering rack bolts and bushings.
