Anyone know of a stock fit LED that fits here?...see pic. I'd like to hard-wire the LED to the running lights. Did a quick search no results for a stock fit. Did the same in my 08' 350Z when I swapped out the front reflectors.

    Thanks

Do a search for the XSP Tacoma. They have the leds on that model.

    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
That would be the DRL LED kit off the Tacoma XSP editions.

The Toyota part # for the entire kit is: 00016-35230

Being that it's an OEM Toyota accessory, it won't be cheap. Expect to pay well over $300 for it.

Here's a place that sells them and you can choose the color of the bezel trim to match the truck as well:

A possible alternative would be to go with a Morimoto XDRL kit. $75/pair. You would have to do all the mounting however.

Matt's bringing the heat with that post. I'd suggest buying a spare set of the headlight trim pieces and the TRS setup. I looked into doing this recently on my 09 ad I'm already running Chris's (CSJumper) LED daytime running lights with switchback bulbs and resistors. No sure if is be able to just run that same wire to the TRS setup or there would be more involved.

Good luck and let us know how you do!

The only issue I foresee here is that with the XDRL they're all pointed "outward" when mounted on an angled piece like that trim panel. The OEM LED setup has each aimed straight ahead.

    OK...

Ordered the LED's from the Amazon link, thanks for that info by the way, along with Metallic Gray from Automotivetouchup.com, adhesion promoter, and clear coat. Looked at some feedback here about aftermarket paint and read that these product were good.

The hardware and wiring look like solid products. LED's look and feel solid. The cat was not included with the shipment. I may put an extra bead of silicone around the housing for extra water protection (?) or a good spray of water repellent. The plastic unpainted (white) pieces are not made from thin material and have a durable feel to them. Directions, pretty simple. See attached. I wired some LED's to my 350Z but was able to hardwire those directly to the DRL's and there was no need connect anything else. These LED's look like they draw a little more current so that may be the reason for the extra modules. The yellow tag attached to the LED's reads: Do not connect power without driver, otherwise, LED will be damaged. I'm assuming the 'driver' is the LED control module included.

Curious as to how well the paint from automotivetouchup matches. Will do a test piece first and post results here.

As usual, time is the most precious commodity. When that window opens I will report back here with the finished results. Hopefuly less than 2 weeks. It's hitting 70 degrees here and the redfish are on the flats!

    Stay tuned fellow Taconians...
