    I wonder if there is enough room to slide it on top of the legs from the slider to the frame. That way it would be semi-protected as well. If for some reason it came loose, you'd have some sort of warning from the knocking noises before you lose it on the freeway/trail.

    I was trying to find the pic of the rig with the 3" body lift that strapped the hi-lift to the outside of his now exposed frame. haha
    What do you weigh? I am about 5200lbs now.
    I worry about the clearance of a 1 piece. I have killed one 2 piece shaft already, almost two of them... If I had had a 1 piece I would have utterly destroyed both of them unless they were significantly stronger than than our OEM driveshafts.
    That's a good idea, I may look into that. My bodylift just might give me enough room.

    just looked under mine...there could be enough, but the issue would be fitting the carrier bearing in there as well..the shaft should fit but the size of the carrier bearing would be the killer for me

    Replacing CV's, upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends,.wheel bearings, servicing both diffs and the rear axles, and installing some lights.

    I weigh 5300lbs with no gear or gas in the truck lol i have you beat empty.

    How the fuck?! I have a toolbox, I have a 10gauge front bumper, 1/4" rear, 3 1/4" skids, 1 3/16" skid and sliders and I am heavier than you right out of the gate! I don't get it. You have 35's on me and the tire gate. I have several skids over you.

    Old man Mike (digiratus) weighed his last year on the way to Moab. Front and rear bumpers, fully skidded front to rear and fully loaded for his trip to Moab and it weighed 4700-4800lbs.
