    I didn't. We have a local Toyota Whisperer and he installed my lift. Maybe he pried it out when he installed them the first time. ANyway if it really isn't tough I will give it a shot one day soon. Going to try to get my CB lined up and installed today. :woot:

    Jace is our local TW member who is a licensed Yota tech that works at a dealership in Denver. Scotty (addicted offroad?) did put in my locker though. He is brilliant with the Yotas.

    Did another shakedown session after another revalve and put the front locker to work.
    Just need to do the front brakes, get two new tires, and change out the wiper blades and we're ready for a road trip. :playball:

    I finally got all the parts last night and put my rear drivers side shock back on after not having it for 2 weeks lol. Stupid bottom bolt walked out on me while off roading and I lost it.

    Why didn't you just get a grade 8 bolt from a hardware store so you could drive it?

    I had to order a new washer and rubber bushing. The tard at Toyota ordered the wrong washer at first even though I explained it to him and showed him how the things fit together. Then I couldn't even get the right bolt from toyota. i would have had to order a whole new sprig perch just forbthebone bolt. so I had to go to 4 different places before I found one that was the right threa pitch and close to the same length.
    Yes lol. It wasn't that bad, shocks are over rated.


    Also ordered the union for the rear diff so I can do the diff breather mod

    Rear shocks aren't exactly necessary. Just nice for big bumps. There is a guy here who DD's his '94 and never bothered putting rear shocks on it when he lifted it.

    I misread and thought you were talking about the shock mount on the lca

    To remove the uca on a 2nd gen? Definitely didn't remove my battery when I installed mine.
