However there is some issue with the locker engagement. At first it would have both wheels locked in both off and on switch positions. We could hear the locker motor working the whole time. Then we took the motor out and slid the locker gear over to unlocked and locker position a few times easily. Put the motor in and when it locked it would hardly catch and we could hear the diff ratchet as we spun the tires, like it wasn't sliding the locker over enough. Also weird was that it unlocked when the switch was put in lock position.

So something with the wiring or the locker motor .

It locker and unlocked seemingly fine when the third was out of the housing.

Trifecta #1 8:00 AM FULL - Trifecta is a LONG trail so we need an early start time. I'm thinking 8:00am. Also because of how long the trail is, it can get really overwhelming with a large group so we've suggested keeping this run to about 10 trucks if at all possible. I don't want to turn anyone away but this isn't a trail for novice drivers or stock trucks. Use good judgement about this trail. If you don't think you're truck is capable enough or you're worried about breakage and/or body damage, or you don't have much 4wheeling experience there might be a better trail choice for you

I recommend trucks on this run have a lift and at least 32" tires. At least one locker is strongly recommended. Armor and skidplates are suggested as well, you will use them. Breakdowns and body damage are likely on this trail. Bring food and LOTS of water for the day. Plan on 8-10 hours+ on the trail if we have a full group. Plan on longer if we have breakdowns. Each truck should have a tow strap, strong front and rear frame mounted recovery points, CB radio, trail spares. I can't enforce it but for the runs I'm leading I would request that alcoholic beverages not be consumed during the trail run. With a trail like this and for the benefit of the entire group, eliminating unnecessary complications and leaving the alcohol until after the run will help keep people on their A game.

Trifecta on Thursday will meet at 8:00am at the Poison Spider Mesa Trail parking lot. CB Channel 22. Once we have a full group signed up, I'll PM my cell # to the group in case you need to get a hold of me.

    Friday

Moab Rim #1 9:00 AM - Moab Rim is a challenging trail and you will need at least one locker and 33's on this trail. Armor and skidplates are suggested. Have a tow strap and strong front and rear frame mounted recovery points on your vehicle.

Damage and rollovers are possible on this trail. Rollovers aren't likely but can happen on this trail. It is a trail that you need to be always paying attention to what you're doing, especially on the climb up to the rim and the descent back down as there are many off camber ledges.

I can't enforce it but for the runs I'm leading I would request that alcoholic beverages not be consumed during the trail run. With a trail like this and for the benefit of the entire group, eliminating unnecessary complications and leaving the alcohol until after the run will help keep people on their A game.

So, Moab Rim on Friday will meet at the Moab Movie Theater on Kane Creek Road at 9:00am on Friday. CB Channel 22.

I was just at Radio Shack and they had pretty much all of their SD cards half off, 16 GBs for like 15 bucks! Not sure if that sale is at all of em, but worth a 60 second call I think.

mmm i dont know about not having laptop but what i do when i dont want to hassle with uploading and stuff is i just take photos with my iphone and send them to my facebook or tw or even icloud saves them for me so i delete photos and take new ones every time. with the go pro vids. a laptop is a must unless theres a way to transfer memory to like a external harddrive without a lap top so you can record in one sd card and as soon as its full move the video to a harddrive.

what you can do is if you got a external harddrive take it and you can either ask me or someone else to barrow a laptop to transfer your vids on to a harddrive. :D ill let you barrow laptop ;)

What speed were they? I would not run anything but a class 10 in a DSLR or a Go Pro. i would just buy 2 or 3 of these. that should be almost enough for a day or two. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=UTF8&keywords=sd card&qid=1368974242&sr=8-13

the best thing hes going to have to do is buy a good quality 32 gig sd for that go pro and invest on a external harddrive if steves doesn't have this. a 32 gig will be plenty of space for the day if you only record the good stuff. just dont wake up and press record and record the whole day, cause i guarantee when you get home and watch the first 10 mins of the video, your going to skip til the good parts :)

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Truth^ a 32gig will only get you about 10 hours of 720p when recording at 720p, you get about 20 minutes HD footage, per GB of memory. And if your recording in 1080p you have about half.
