    True story. But it sucks when your in the middle or bringing up the rear in a group and have no idea what's going on up ahead, such as do you wait to get out of your truck or sit and hang on for two seconds before you all move through an obstacle.

    Monty's suggestion is a good one on the CB.

    Uniden 520XL Pro (w/ external speaker) in my truck with 4' firestick. Been a great inexpensive setup.

    Dude it's MOAB Ive wheeled that place enough i know how to um NOT get stuck not that ive ever been stuck and if i do get HUNG up i has winch.

    Antennae placement is also very important. If you put it anywhere on the bed, half the signal is blocked by the cab. The best place by far is drivers side hood mount. I had mine at first on the passenger bed side but had terrible signal. Anytime someone went around a bend I couldn't hear them. Then I put it on drivers side hood as recommended by my CB shop and I was the guy who had to relay messages between everyone because I could hear everyone and everyone could hear me. Also, consider getting it tuned. Very quick but probably get it done professionally.

    Actually i was thinking of making a hing mount off my roof rack that way i can pop that sum bitch up in the air where nothing is in the way of it and put it down when im in town and stuff.
