I don't know if this has been brought up or is something you guys would wanna do, but how interested would you guys be in something like a local beer trade?? We've got some awesome local breweries here in utah (crazy, right?!) and I'm sure all of you from the different states do as well. I for one wouldn't mind trying to get my hands on some yuengling lager I hear so much about from the guys back east...

Just a thought to throw around. I'll be bringing a good mix of local stuff either way!

Anybody have any ideas for events? Doesn't look like there much listed on the main page.

    1st gear drag race?
    tire change challenge?
    stupid human stunts?
    flex ramp challenge?
people's choice awards? (voting for people's favorite crawler, expo, light set up, most drooled over, ???, etc.)

Works better if everyone has different types of rigs with different case setups though. haha Since most of us are running 33's and 35's and there are only a couple of options for crawlboxes (That hardly any of us have anyway) it wouldn't be much of a race.

1st gear drags could be interesting though:D haha

Or could be fun to do a KOH style race. Set up a little course of rocks/whoops or something in BFE and do a 4lo 1st gear race through it, hopefully that should be slow enough to keep people from breaking stuff.

Yeah, there may only be a few people that could contend to make it real interesting. But, it would be pretty cool to see a crawl box in action for those that aren't able to see it on the trail.

    hmm...

There are a lot of small rocks in BFE. I wonder if this could be asking for a broken rear window...

Yeah. A local group I wheel with here does this on occasion but there are all kinds of vehicles welcome so there is a broad range of different motors and gears available. They usually drop everything in low at the bottom of a hill then crawl up on the roof and chill for the ride. Last one up the hill wins.

Ben, it looks like you figgered out how to make it work for moab? You didn't think you were going to be able to go a while back, if I remember right.
