Hello everyone, this is my first post so allow me to introduce myself. My name is JT and I have been a Tacoma owner for three years!

Last week my stereo in my 2013 Tacoma stopped working, the system in it is a stock system and I'm not sure why the stereo is no longer producing sound... Any help would be great because I am truly stumped. I have checked the fuses, and have checked all speakers and none of them appear to be blown. What am I missing?

Does the radio light up (to indicate that it is receiving power)?

    Is it the JBL model?

The radio does light up, indicating power. It is not the JBL model

    Perplexing.

Not sure what model Tacoma you have. Do you have the 2-speaker or 4-speaker system?

Perhaps check your fader control? Maybe it is sending the sound to non-existent speakers?

obvious question, but have you selected a source (I'm assuming it's the touch screen without apps/Nav)

Are you still under the 36/36 warranty?

You said that you check the fuses but did you check the connections? Unplug all the connections and plug them back in. If that fails you could try running new speaker wire to one of the speakers to see if the wires got cut/fried/etc. Its unlikely that happened but trouble shoot everything before you send the money!

Its possible, and sounds inline with the problems you are having.
