Just recently bought a 2013 tacoma TRD, wondering what my options are for a small lift. Just basically looking for ideas on how I should raise it up just alittle and level the truck out.

    Looking to spend about $500-$750

OME shocks/coils (or 5100s) and an AAL for that budget will be the main replies you get.

^X2 Bilstein 5100's and AAL. Don't set the 5100 shocks to 2.5" or you will need UCA's more than likely costing ($500+labor). Set at 1.75 if you dont install 885x coils. If you do buy 885x coils set the Bilstein 5100's to 0 w/ a 1.5" AAL in the rear should work for you.

billy 5100 or OME seems to be the most popular around here.

So if money wasn't an issue what would be the best way to achieve a 3in lift?

So what is the difference performance wise and stance wise between the cheaper option and the more expensive option?

Better suspension angles? More travel? Better ride quality? Durability?

Different intended purposes for the lifts?

Bear with me as I am a noob.

No budget I would go Icon. I've always wanted to give them a try.

Good rule of thumb, if you don't know what it does you don't need it (yet).

IMO one should do copious amounts of research and get some experience before throwing several thousand dollars worth of suspension on their truck just because it was "better" than the less expensive option but they don't know why.

I'm not looking to spend the money i'm just curious to know what the differences are.

The more I know the better i'll be able to understand future topics that may be above my level of knowledge.

    Thanks for the heads up.

I didn't realize there was a suspension section on here.
