Let me clarify this some more because I keep getting PM's and posts asking me if I'm sure of the color: I AM SURE of the color. This is the GENERIC slate gray/anthracite color grill that came on base model tacomas after the 2012+ facelift. This is NOT Magnetic gray or pyrite mica!

2013 Tacoma grill for sale. Just got a new grill so this one has to go.

Here's a picture of a base model regular cab, like mine, that comes with the same color/generic grill. Just so everyone is clear that this is a factory option/color on the "work trucks".

It looks more like Pyrite Mica, you should make sure what color it is.

It's the generic color that came on base model Tacomas. It is close to magnetic gray but it isn't. I've seen it described as "anthracite" in color.

 

I thought the base models came with a matte black grille? If it is pyrite mica I'll take it.

 

No, they come with this anthracite generic color. Once again, this is NOT MGM or pyrite mica.

I've done some searching on Google and cannot, for the life of me, find the code for this generic, base-model color.

I don't believe you'll find a color code, since I don't think it's painted. I'm pretty sure that's the color of the plastic used in the mold. I have the same one on my 15 base and when I disassembled it, it seemed like that was the plastic color. If you paint it, make sure you use a plastic bonding primer before paint or it will not adhere. I plastidipped mine (I put that $h1t on everything), so I didn't worry about it.
