    Hey everyone,

I purchased a K and N intake from 4 wheel parts earlier today. I installed the Intake and followed the directions and videos on youtube. I double checked everything and I can't seem to find the issue. The truck starts but will not keep running. It sounds like its bogging down and then stops running. I cleaned the Sensor and made sure it was facing towards the front of the truck... I also disconnected the negative terminal to the battery and tried again.... No luck, I had to leave my truck at a buddies because it was to late to continue working. Any other suggestions? I am extremely frustrated at this point and I plan on putting the old intake on tomorrow. Hopefully it works.

    I have a 2013 Tacoma TRD Sport.

    Too few to list.
Sounds like a MAF issue with it not wanting to stay running.

Im going to try and rotate the MAF within the next hour. Hopefully that works... All the hoses are checked but I will double check again tonight. Appreciate Y'all chiming in. I will take some pictures of the MAF.

Double check the MAF connector is completely plugged in. Symptoms sound exactly like a MAF.

Alright y'all problem solved! Thanks for the help. The MAF was in the wrong position... It needs to be facing the Firewall! The same side that the oil dipstick is on... K and N instructions does not specify this. Hopefully people will see this thread to save time and money. Notice how the hand reaches over the intake and is on the same side as the oil dipstick.
