In the young and sane days, a friend of mine and I would pull up on another car at a light, one one each side, slightly ahead and put our cars in reverse. Then we would very slowly back up and watch the guy go nuts trying to stop his car.

Get the picture? She backed into you.

It has to be the floor mat. OP, what floor mat do you have? Take it in and have them trim your pedal!

What was your engine doing? If you had your brakes stomped, ain't no way you would have been moving. Then into park, and still moving, nope can't happen.

Again what was the engine doing all this time?, Idling?

You got hit by the person in front of you backing up.

When you threw it in Park. If you didn't hear an awful clicking sound. You were not moving.

My truck moves forward too. I can be stopped, foot on brake and then it just starts rolling. It seems like the compressor kicks on and the engine rpm comes up a bit and produces a bit more idle power for the brake hold I have. A quick jab of the brakes and I'm fine, but if for some reason I wasn't paying attention and was too close to someone, I could see myself rolling into a car.

It was never something I could not get quick control of, these brakes are super touchy. A quick brake check feels like I just stood on the pedal and the nose dives.

Sometimes it's hard to see over the tailgate.
Did you happen to notice this vehicle behind you?

Do you have the diesel option? A lot of torque, more than the stock V6.

If your brakes worked to stop you, they certainly worked to keep you stopped.

The simple answer is that she backed into you, which is why she didn't get out of the car when you touched bumpers.

That is the FAR more likely scenario then your truck overriding your brakes, ebrake and transmission in park.
