So I got Toyota of Plano to find me a TRD OR 4wd by telling them I was going to Denver to get one off the lot. It has some options that I didn't know I wanted, but we negotiated a price I could live with.

I just saw that black Tacoma, and that Marty McFly is hilarious. I liked the little light bar on the front, but it doesn't have the same build quality as Defiant (http://www.defianttruckproducts.com/toyota.html). I had one of those on my Tundra and had planned on getting one for the Tacoma until I caught the LED bug. Now I'm thinking of using Rigid's LED grill and the Defiant bar looks a little tall for some extra lights.

Fred Haas Toyota in Houston has one on their lot. I will say that I was impressed that it had the Bilsteins with reservoirs on it. Needs a paint matched grille and bumper, though.

FYI, the bed bar will bend your bedsides.

    Annoying, but it happens.

I'm curious about the rock sliders sold with the tforce package. How much are they and are they bolt on? I would think they cost about the same as the factory predator tube steps? Wonder how they hold up. Is there a good thread with anyone that has had a chance to use them?

Saw one of these a month after I bought my tss at the dealership. Thing was the same price as mine was. The roll bar in the bed looks ridiculous but it comes with billie 5160s. Shoulda waited a month then I coulda sold that roll bar for a few hundred and had my first payment outta the way. Or bought something else for it

Rev tek lifts on the GST vehicles increase the price by a couple grand. It's ridiculous. I bought my truck in Denver, which saved my about $4k

It's all good. It's still a Tacoma under all those accessories. I had a dealer try to push one on me because he had it in stock. I wanted the factory locker (modded my previous cars way too much), so I told him I wanted the TRD OR. He said they're the same and that he can have the TRD OR stickers put on the TForce truck for me. I stopped speaking to that man.

That's hilarious, "I stopped speaking to that man". I gave my salesman a list and told him that if he couldn't deliver I'd go to Denver and get one off the lot. He claimed there were only 2 TRD OR 4wd in TX when he found mine. I love it.

was it at Plano Toyota? They had one a year ago when I was looking. Rockwall also had one. Like the wheels but that is it. Not even a locker on it. Lights are 55 watt. Service writer at Rockwall called it a dressed up street truck.
