    Progress on the doors, driver and passenger done. It takes such a long time to get rough measurements, cut out, paste, and roll, and to do this on the inside and outside... I really like the outcome though. The first thing you will notice is the doors are quite a bit heavier. Makes it feel like its built like a G-Wagon door. :proposetoast:

    Just finished up a little Fog Light mod to run the fog lights while the high beams are running. This mod lets you turn on/off the fog lights with the switch located in the cab of the truck with any setting of lights (No lights, DRL, Headlights, Highbeams) and turns off when the key is taken out. Very easy, I just used 18 AWG wire laying around, some heat shrink wrap, and a dabble of dielectric grease. I am looking into adding a LED strip on the inside of the hood but I have never worked with LED strips before. Any insights on some that are recommended?

    I want to do this to all 4 doors on my truck. I just want to know how much was the cost for all doors?

    Well I really wanted to go all out with this, hints the two layers on each door. I bought 2 boxes of 36 square feet (dyamat extreme) costing $120 each. I ended up using 1 box and 1/6 of the other box. I think even one layer on each door would make a big difference. The sound deadening is nice, but I can't get over how good it feels to open and shut the doors now that they feel more solid. :thumbsup:
    Planning on using the extra elsewhere.

    I have them in my truck. They are cheap and easy to make... I can send you some Amazon links if you are interested.

    Did you just bend the terminal on the relay and shrink wrap the wire onto the terminal??

    Im afraid to mess with the relays in my junction block. I dont want to fry anything!!!!

    @Zac of all trades
    Yes, please send me the link :thumbsup:

    Yea I bent the terminal on the relay, then I soldered the wire right to the terminal (tons of less permeant alternative ways to do this than solder) than put some dielectric grease and slipped a heat shrink tubing to cover it all. You might be able to get away with heat shrinking it, but i'm not sure how well that will hold up.

    No I did not re-install my vapor shield, it was more or less ripped up when I took it off. Im sure people argue the effect of it on the truck but it is not significant enough for me to get another. :goingcrazy:
