I had the ARB tent on my previous rig. It's a quality unit; great mid range option. I'm going with the Eezi-awn for this rig. Primary reason is size! Folded up it's 11" thick vs ARB 15"+. I've been building it to fit 7' parking garages. Lower profile, higher quality, more durable, better mattress... And more $$$. :)

I've been very happy with the 32"s. 235/85/16 Firestone Destination MT. I chose these because:

#1 Weight - 46lbs!!! 285/75s are pushing 60lbs. This makes a huge difference in drive-ability. Better steering feel, Better Braking, Better Acceleration and Better MPG.

#2 Size - Measure True 32" - compared to 285/75/16 which measures closer to 32.5".

    #3 Strength - True 3 Ply Construction! Load E.

#4 Capability - I've run these tires on a past rig. Exceptional overall traction. They wear well too. Many have commented getting 50k or more from them. Yet soft compound.

#5 Cost - Least important but nice bonus. Got all 5 tires mounted/balanced with road hazard warranty for under $1,100. Something like $180/tire.

#6 Skinny - It drives people crazy!! HAHA - Actually, they track much better on road than even the factory tires. Don't feel the hwy ruts and way better steering feel.

#7 Travel Range - Which basically is MPG - Stock it averaged 18mpg for my mixed driving. With all the modifications it currently averages 17mpg and occasionally will push to 19mpg when spending more time cruising. I'm adding a 20 Gallon tank to bump the range over 750 miles for longer trips coming up...

#8 Gearing - No need to regear. 33s are not pleasant to drive with stock gears even though many may say otherwise. I didn't want to deal with voiding the warranty and spending cash on gears.

Have fun! I've been enjoying this truck... Many adventures planned for it this year. :)

Thanks for the input on the tent! I'll have to take a look at the Eezi. I'm looking to buy new wheels and tires in June so I will definately consider those Firestones. How easy was the install on the bed rack?
