First post, first time Tacoma owner, previously owned a '00 4Runner Sport and loved it to 175K miles, but wanted more versatility, so I went for the '12 TRD Sport Upgrade last week for a number of reasons over the '13 Limited...first off, color keyed mirrors, bumpers, flares, door handles etc. plus hood scoop, yeah I ended up with the chrome wheels but that is an easy fix compared to the other bling on the Limited, everything else is the same except for heated and drivers power seat. Heated seats can be added here locally for $150-200 a seat, and who cares about power, once it is set I don't move it because only I drive it! I did get the 4 leaf rear w/Bilsteins, 6.5K tow pkg. and all the other add ons like camera, Bluetooth, Entune, JBL w/sub etc. for $35K sticker, leased for 3 years and with $5K down or trade came to $330/month. Can't beat that, I thought great deal! Only thing I didn't get is the rear locker, kind of bothers me but I will just be more careful now I guess. Buying a '12 (or in my case lease today, buy out in 3 years is $19.5K) NOW when the '13's are coming out gives you more negotiation leverage, and wait until the last couple of days of the month too. My wife sells for Toyota and they will deal just to get another one down the road for the month, plus clear the lot of '12 models.

...and it's sad for a truck with all that bling and heated seats that they didn't fix one of the trucks few flaws. I'd be willing to consider a Limited, if it had power seats. Guess I'll be hanging onto my 05 for while longer...

That's a good looking truck, really like that green. Almost went with that colour myself, enjoy it!

Do you really need almost $7000 worth of options?? Opt out & add them on yourself...MUCH cheaper in the long run & not paying interest on it for 5 years.

Since you bought one, how about posting a few pictures of the interior. I'd like to see what kind of bling you get on the inside for $7000.

I didn't buy the Limited, bought a TRD Sport. Was just commenting on the colour, which I almost chose. Like the colour, but the chrome was not for me.

.... and we still have the TRD Sport as an option for 2013, with a hood scoop standard. :p

I have the Tacoma Limited edition 2k13 and it is well worth it. The only difference is NO bilstein shocks! You don't want that anyway since every 4x4 Tacoma should get a 3inch lift and get it supercharged which I will be doing in the coming months.

X2, but I can't get over the "chrome clad" (aka hubcap) wheels. I know all of the other manufacturers are using them these days but you think they would use a better wheel for $37K. Not bagging on the truck, it's a Tacoma so it's nice, but just dislike the wheels.

I can't find a link to compare these 3 pkgs. Toyota's web site is having issues for my area so i can't build from their site. Other sites don't show the TSS since it's in a limited area. I'm trying to compare these to see what the difference is both features & price. Where can i find a site that lets me compare these?

You can build them on NADA or Edmunds. The Limited seems to be about $1500 or so more than Sports. The one I looked at the same day I bought my TRD Sport was nice, but the "softex" is nothing more than glorified vinyl.

Thanks, i went to both sites, neither has the TSS. I think the TSS is a Regional Pkg. has 18" wheels. I wanted to compare that pkg. I may stick with the TRD Sport & build it with the JBL, possible upgrade on wheels. I hate going to a dealership, they just want to sell what they have & screw you on trade in.
