2013 TRD Rust

I purchased my TRD in late 2013. After approx a year and 4 months later I have rust pitting on my doors, I have the quad cab, just behind the windows going from front to back. It is only going to get worse going forward. Has anyone experienced this same problem and if so did Toyota take care of the issue under warranty. I am very particular with washing and keeping my truck clean and I am very disappointed with the situation. I will be going to my dealer with this and was just wondering what to expect going in.

 

Are you by chance talking about little rust looking spots in the paint?

 

that is not right 1st step is take to dealer and start the complaint process....see what they say

My 13' TRD truck doesn't have any body rust anywhere, and it was delivered to me in late 12'. Not exactly sure what you are describing here, but hope you get it resolved.

 

Could be rail dust? Had some on my jeep - though it was rust but then found it on the painted bumpers too lol

 

have you tried using a claybar?

sounds more like fallout than rust.
