2013 vs 2016

Lol. I guess I'll have toyo check it out at the 5k maintenance mark. Was yours low on ATF? If so, did it perform better once it was topped off?

 

Yeah. I wouldn't wait to have it checked though. I had mine checked at 1200 miles. It was a quart low but some people have had theirs as much as 3 quarts low.

 

When you had your truck checked, did they give you a rental for the time they had your truck?

I made an appointment and dropped it off first thing in the morning and got it back that night before they closed. You'll have to make up a story though for them to be willing to check it. I told them that I was concerned my truck had low atf. The truck hesitated when shifting between reverse and drive. Also told them that the transmission was slipping. Asked that the transmission fluid be checked manually by bringing the transmission to temperature. I didn't have any push back from the dealer.
