It was a great weekend down there. The fall colors were on fire. We were up on Potts.

Nice, right around the corner. I saw a bunch of rigs this weekend at the BP in hanging rock and all up and down 311.

    Namyo's pics tho....damn

We will have to get up one of these days. Not sure I could follow y'all.

    Yet.

Hmmm we may have already headed on down 311 then since there was a second group of older yotas still on their way from Richmond.

    Rock lights ordered.

Got jelly of @Chux and was bullied by @ragincajun35 and @northwesttaco and just pulled the trigger on a big Pelfrey order.

Shepherds are the best!! Unfortunately we just put our first one down last August but he was definitely the best dog we ever could have asked for, definitely getting another.

Pelfreybilt HC was the only other bumper I was considering, if I did it again I probably would go with that. Glad you pulled the trigger

Win! The rear bumper is a huge asset in my camp setup. Hope you got the fold down table!??

Sorry to hear that, there is something special about shepherds for sure. I have two now so life is pretty crazy. They go with me everywhere. Wouldn't have it any other way.

don't know if i will be going with another high clearance bumper.... like the spare out from under there truck for sure but i think i would go with the double hinge. Or if i did the single hinge i would definitely do the camp table. Decisions decisions.

My Fiance wants to know your new pups name, and where you live so she can steal him lol.

She had to put down her family shepard in June.

They are incredible. I was amazed at how often people would come up to me, while I was running with him, and ask to pet him.. I always told them "he's a German shepherd, he isn't good with strangers". Their eyes get big and they run away :D
Here he was next to my lab a few years ago image.jpg

    You know it!

I was really debating this for a long time. Mostly worried about the hassle of getting into the cap and having room to swing it out, etc. My dogs ride in the bed so opening the gate is going to happen a lot! As far as swing out space, screw it. I dont live in a city, i dont park in a city, unless unavoidable. In fact I actively avoid cities and congested areas where opening it would be an issue anyway.
