That is always hard. It devastated me when my first Shepherd "Jerry" was gone. We were a kick ass team.

The new pup is pretty freaking cute. She is a little terror though.

    My 2yo male is Django.

The new pup is 12wo female "Ranger".

Damn! He was handsome! My 2yo is about as friendly as can be. LOVES kids (sticky fingers, and eye level i think) and people. It took a while for the UPS man to get comfortable though that for sure.

He really was! His parents were numbers 1 and 3 in shutzhund training in Germany. Our UPS man never got used to him haha

Actually for me it wasn't the city thing it was camping and i had a 5 foot bar sticking off of the back of the truck that i had to walk around. Also couldn't backup near any foliage or trees or anything like that because needed room to walk around. i also have a little boat and so when it was hooked up i couldn't open up the back of my truck.

Good point. I cook off my tailgate when possible and usually have a fold table set up right where it would swing out. Hopefully I wont even notice the difference!

This is my 2yo's dad. Im not really into this stuff but it is pretty impressive to say the least.

Not sure how the sound is, may want to mute.

That was a close #2 for sure. If someone had an easily removable gate that would have been a selling point for me too.

That's a dope bumper but it kills me there's zero use for the inside of the swingouts. IMO I'd rather walk around one 4' bar on one side than 2 2' swing outs on both sides. Maybe cuz it was just a bar it seemed useless and in the way. When I set up shop, the passenger side of the truck is dead to me. I basically make up a three sided station accessed from the drive side or from the rear with maximum table space. In the case of tight quarters I would just nose into the bush or put the passenger side against the trees. One of the better pics I have of the setup stopping at a rest area on the way home from Vt.

That's pretty much my exact setup, except my 3-sided station opens to the rear. Especially if I am running the awning off of the back. Looks funny going down the road but it works out well and it's easy to move to the side on tight trails.

Yea I've been considering what I wanna do about a rear awning. Right now off the rear I use a Smittybilt trail shade

    C4B8124B-E62A-4F75-A292-B456057D6536_zps_61d746d2d28b80b2e28ad1b4a87d57db9ab4a757.jpg

The trail shade is good (better than nothing) but not great. Its a PITA to put up by yourself, hard to get the fabric tight, and the far end doesn't extend to high. My consideration is between a 4' awning off the rear or just go full bat wing! Lol
