    Strange request. If you still have your old steel wheels, do you care to take pictures or explain how the center cap was held on to the rim? I recently acquired a set of the base steel wheels and I'm pretty sure I'm missing a retaining spring of some kind on the back side of the center cap that holds it in place. Or do the lugs keep it in there once they're tightened?

    @BleekerB Sure I'll take pics in a couple hours for you. The center caps won't stay in place on the wheel until the lugs are tight. Once you have the wheels mounted up, line up the center cap clips on the back to the corresponding slots on the wheel and give it a nice slap with your meat hammer. It should snap right in and stay put.

    The center caps won't stay on the wheels until the lugs are tight.
