They played like crap and somehow won.. They were only good for about 2/3rds of the game. They have a lot of work to do if they are even going to make it out of group play.


That being said, dont care who wins tmrw but go Brazil

Their group and group D are the two craziest groups IMO

I was informed the same thing when I got to work by my soccer fans, they played like Crap. I thought they played good since they won but I'm not a soccer fan so obviously I was wrong.

One of my friends asked why I was watching soccer. I told him it's the World Cup played once every 4 years. I'm supporting team USA. I told him it's like the Olympics. These athletes train their tales off for this one shot. It's cool to see their stories.

I told my friend last night to name one sporting event that generates as much excitement for a country with a score 29 seconds into a game as the USA goal did. Fans went crazy everywhere. It was pretty awesome to see all the reactions from not only in our Country but world wide with the Military celebration videos on SportsCenter last night.

I know team USA probably doesn't have a realistic chance to win the World Cup. Hopefully they can capitalize off this win and advance.

 

Yeah, just because you win doesnt mean you played a great game.. After the 60 minute mark it was all Ghana. They had almost 65% possession. We gave up 21 shots.. The most ever to a team that didnt win. After 60 minutes you could tell everyone was completely exhausted and they still had 30 minutes left to play.

To me it felt like after the 20th minute it was all Ghana. If I could have made it home before the 20th minute I would probably say it was all Ghana after the 0:36 mark. Bradley looked to be content with passing the ball to only Ghanaian's. He completed 3 or 4 passes late in the second half. He wasn't the only one that gave it away a lot though. They got the win but their stamina has GOT to increase by Sunday. A win there would get us out of the group. A victory against Germany seems very unlikely. I'm happy we finally beat Ghana, even though it was ugly.
