    I think that one thing that people that don't like fútbol really don't like is the "low score" of the sport
    One "goal", "goal attempt" or a "save" (just to name the obvious) can be remembered forever... in other high scoring sports not so much , and the scoring doesn't reflect the hard work as much (I am not saying it not there)
    There are a lot of people that just don't like it but actually hate it and talk shit about it. FUCK them... we don't need them... Soccer is and will remain the biggest SPORT at a global level

    Could have been. I was just referring to the fact that the americans looked like they had played two full games by the 60 minute mark.
    I partially agree but I think a larger reason is the diving. IMO at least.

    Soccer for me is all about process. If you don't enjoy the simple things like controlled ball movement you will miss the essence of the game. It isn't easy to keep an object that large from athletic and determined opponents.

    North American's have too many sports to choose from and it seems most are attracted to those that have more continual attacking. IE football and hockey

    Soccer is attractive for it's simplicity, hence it is accessible the world over. There is no better pure sport
