    Just out of curiosity would some of you knowledgable guys clue me in on the deal with Landon Donovon? I don't know beans about soccer, so I am total neutral on the decision but just curious. Because I saw a clip where he was expressing that he had expected to be on the team. And some of the commentators mildly questioned it but they didn't follow up with any comments or opinions on it.

    He is one of the few names even non die hard fans recognize. So why? Is he a tad too old or too slow nowadays or what? I think I even heard one of the commentators faintly mention the absense when the one guy got the hamstring injury against Ghana.
