I was going to ask why would anyone trade that in not private sell, but maybe judging by the asking price they suckered some dealer guy into giving them a ton for it?

Yeah FJ Cruisers have the craziest resale value of any modern day Toyota besides maybe some of the classic LCs and such. Even higher resale than Tacomas.

Some people just don't like dealing with private sales I guess...I got my low mileage 04 Tacoma from a Toyota dealership in 2016 (24k miles on it). I'm sure the previous owner got shafted on the trade in value.

All the suburban housewives love driving them now and their rich husbands will pay whatever to put them into one. The aggressive off-roader that never goes off the pavement is all the rage now a days, so it makes it kinda hard to find one in such good condition with low miles since most were bought and used for it's more intended purposes.

    Auto or manual?

I'm just curious, I'd love a manual trans FJ but no way I'm spending 50k on one lol.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I like mine a lot, and whee the pods out of it. However, it is no 4runner with a v8 ;)

Wow, that is amazing. I'd love to find a Cav to match my truck, but nowhere near that price.

The Heritage is very close to the Cav, right?
