Hey guys. i've got a 2014 SR5 DC (non-TRD) with 6k miles. I just noticed today that the leaf springs are totally flat with nothing in the bed. I mean flat as a pancake. Is that normal? I've had four other tacomas- 1 first gen and 3 second gens. And it seems I remember all of them having at least a little arc in the leaf packs. Can anyone with a '14 chime in? Or even if you don't have a '14, can you tell me if this sounds right? Thanks for any replies.

So far my 2014 DCSB TRD Sports have a pretty good arch. I usually have 200-300 pounds of tools in the bed + SnugTop cover. I only have under 6700 miles on it.

Yeah, not what I expected/wanted to see either. Not sure I buy it quite yet, but It's beginning to sound like it might be normal. Like yours, after taking another look mine might be slightly on the negative side, as well.

Toyota says they're designed to be flat, not arched.
