    Supposedly, the Toyota part number is found on the back of the Micro SD card, which when searched, the year version can be found.

    Can this be updated or do you need to buy a new card to get updated maps? Cost of either?

    I’m kinda interested, I have the same radio but no NAV. I have the GPS beacon tho so I already get weather and traffic. Assume drop this in and that’s all I’d need?

    Yes, plug & play, which is why I am considering it. You already have the GPS antenna, which is a plus.

    You would need an additional antenna and subscription, if you wanted XM.

    When you buy an update, you get a new card. I bought an update for my original radio soon after buying it from another user on the forum.
    (this radio was bought to diagnose a problem but not needed)
