They need it. No more Johnny Football to rely on.

 

Myles Garrett will most likely start from day one. Every scout I've heard from says he's got an NFL body right now. It will take time to learn the system, but he's best we got at that position. Other players we'll have to wait and see. We got a lot of defensive players from our 2013 class who weren't ready play last year, but should be good to go this year. The biggest question going into spring ball will QB.

Playoff system. You'll have to play two Top 5 teams in a row to win a NC this year. In the SEC we call that October

 

The highest (and only) ranked team you played in October was Florida, I repeat Florida.

 

They must not teach you how to read at FSU. I said the SEC, not LSU.

 

It must have been tough watching all those other SEC teams play two top 5 ranked opponents in a row in October.

While were on the subject of UF sucking...

 

As usual we end up with a bunch of 3 & 4 star recruits. I saw where we were ranked 19th overall, which is about normal.

 

Who do you expect to get the starting qb job?

 

No idea. I would say Hill has the edge going in but Allen is already on campus. It is a two horse race between those two though.

 

Are they both freshmen?

 

What about Joeckel?

 

I'll believe jameis is staying when I see it. He'll start to see those big money numbers and bolt like everyone else. I expect this to be Gurley's last season.

Luckily we've got Gurley/Marshall jr comin in.

 

Hill is a So. Allen is Fr. Hill got some snaps last season and looked really comfortable running the offense. He didn't get as many snaps as he should have because if our defense.

He's got much less upside and not mobile at all. He will most likely be the backup.

 

Case Keenum isn't that mobile and has a noodle for an arm yet he put up fantastic numbers in Sumlin's system.

 

But look at what Sumlin had to choose from at UH. This is just my take and things I've heard from people inside the program. I think everything else being equal (I've heard Hill is more talented and better ie reason Davis transferred) you go with the younger player as he will be there longer.
