Agreed. There is more talent to choose from at tamu. I haven't heard much about any of your quarterbacks, I just figured that if Sumlin could coach an NFL backup with Keenum, he could make Joeckel work for him. Even if he relied more on his running backs than in years past.

 

I think Joeckel would do ok, but I don't think he's got a chance against the other two. It will really be interesting to see how the west turns out this year with all the QBs that left.

 

We're ranked #4 going in. I know it may not last. Just let me feel proud for a moment. I see I'm not the only GAMECOCK here. We don't get too many proud moments!

 

I'm excited about the year. Jennings played well against Iowa so I'm hoping he can improve a lot during the offseason

 

That ranking is crazy considering we lost Shaw & 1/3 of our defense. But Welcome to the Florida St/Georgia football thread anyways.

Yeah, I have no idea what both teams are going to look like given the players both teams lost.

Fair enough.

Rece Davis said that Dak Prescott is likely the best returning quarterback in the SEC. Jesse Palmer said a couple times this season that Dak is better than any other quarterback that Mullen has coached, including Alex Smith and Tebow. Bro Wallace and Nick Marshall will probably be pretty good next year as well.

 

I'm lookin forward to games 1 & 2. Clemson/SC...BRING IT! Can't freakin wait.

Not a whole lot of new 4-stars either. (NO 5s at all?) It seems like the recruiting is still soft. My eyes are on Pharaoh in the Q.B spot....I'm not so sure about Thompson. Shaw never really got the credit he deserved. I can't see any way in hell we can pull off another 11 win season this year, but let's wait and see.

Thompson reminds me of Garcia is the way he's good one day & God awful the next.......

Most of our tough games are at home & you know our home winning record but I agree, 11 wins is probably a wet dream this season.
