If I remember correctly, there were rumors that he wanted the job when Muschamp got it but it was never offered to him. If he's interested in it, then he might take it regardless of what others think. He may like Gainesville more than Austin. Who knows what his reasons would be? I may or may not be attempting to send my resume in for that job opening.

No doubt. We started the year with a combined 5 starts on the o-line and a first time starting QB a couple of games in not to mention the lack of depth do to the bare cub bard Mack left and all the suspensions.

From 2-4 to bowl eligible with a shot at knocking off TCU. The future is bright on the 40 acres.

I would laugh if he actually did. I don't see it happening, though. Texas should be back to its winning ways in the next year or 2 if he hangs around. Hard to win with players you didn't recruit for your style of football.
