I'm in. I'll bring baked beans, hot dogs, chips, soda, and some beer. Hopefully I'm not to rusty on the mountain bike. I havnt mountain biked in 2 years. Switched to the road bike after college and did a couple races. I'll get back on the bike this week and make sure it feels comfy. I was a cross country mountain biker not a DH biker all though the down hill was my favorite part so I may not go as fast as some as you guys especially if you guys are in full gear with a face helmets cuz I'll be wearing a road bike helmet.

Lol all good buddy! Ride at your own pace, and don't worry we're not pros or anything, just taken enough dirt samples to know the value of a full face :)

So a little update, camping is pretty much free for all on the MNF (Mendocino National Forest) and the only place they would charge is in the developed campgrounds in the Pillsbury basin. I'm down to play it by ear when we get there, depending on how the group feels we can scope out a cool camp site together. I think Chris (CMJ) camped on the peak one night, but it's probably windy as F.
Chris is gnarly, wind doesn't faze him

I remember scoping some cool spots to camp on the next ridge over from the peak of Hull, but we can figure it out when we get there.

I'll bring some pulled pork and tortillas for bomb ass tacos, brewskis and a shit ton of firewood. I just tore down the entire fence around my property so I have a bajillion redwood fence posts. Great campfire wood.

Sounds good. I'll bring a couple bags of tortilla chips and salsa to go with your tacos. Thanks for bringing the wood.

A 4x4 club down in fresno is putting on a run at bald mountain on the 29th of this month. Should be a good time. The run is aimed at stock rigs, but there will be plenty of built rigs around as well, playing on the hard stuff. I can give more info for anyone interested. Its gonna be a pretty big group, should be a good time. Happening rain, shine, or snow.

A simple coilover fubar - this isn't assistance from the same guy you were thinking of having build you an entire SAS front end is it?:eek::eek:

^^^ Who is this dude...sounds SHADY! I wouldn't trust anyone with a SAS unless it's a solid company with a good reputation.

I don't mean to sow confusion by quoting old posts - that was from a few months ago and ferny had already decided not to proceed with the SAS.

I was just morbidly curious - 'cause if the same guy that who had been offering to do a SAS couldn't help him do a simple relatively trouble free spring/shock install - well then Fernando really dodged a bullet by not having him start that SAS job.
