Well, I dropped a new microphone into my wife's 2014 Rav4 tonight. Still can't get the Bluetooth to work right as referenced in my last thread here..person in the Rav4 either can't be heard or it's robotic sounding.

I've paired 3 different phones up and they all have the same issue. Those 3 phones also work fine paired to my truck with a Pioneer radio. I tried the radio reset the other night, tried unhooking the battery tonight. No luck.

Seems like the radio is the issue, plus a good amount of the touchscreen isn't working (has been an issue for a bit but she's gotten around it using the steering wheel controls).

I looked at the radio and it has the number 100328 on the lower right surround. What other Toyota radio is compatible? It's a non-JBL, no navigation, and that's all well and good so don't need anything fancy. Trying to avoid $900 and up for a new one.

If I were you I would just go non-Toyota. Put in a new stereo like a Kenwood or pioneer and a maestro unit if you have steering wheel controls. Probably do the whole thing for 500 bucks or less and you end up with something that has apple carplay and android auto. I switched out my daughters stereo in her corolla for a pioneer AVIC I got a best buy for about 300 bucks then spent about another hundred on other stuff and ended up with a far better setup
