    what is the button that has 4 tires and a x over the transmission? its left of the steering wheel but nit down by traction control?

    First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
    It is the center diff lock button.

    That's what you press to make it 4 wheel drive pretty much lol

    Edit: I can check the owners manual and tell you for sure though if you'd like

    Yes essentially that button engages/disengages your 4WD.

    The ECU uses the info from the steering angle, throttle position, and axle speed sensors to adjust when the transfer case is engaged or not. This button just forces it to be fully engaged. It only keeps the transfer case locked up to 25mph. Above that, the ECU takes over control of the AWD system.
