What brand? I bought some xenons and they got all full with water and only lasted a year before burning out.

Not sure brotha but, the box it came in had an automotivelamps logo on it. I'm guessing that's where the ebay seller gets them from.

Stayed up last night and cut out some of the lower grill so, the light bar can sit flush instead of it popping out. This morning I was able to test fit it and see how I needed to make the brackets to mount on the crash bar. I have the material just need to find the time to do it but, heres how its looking... I ended up putting tape over the lens because the protective film was coming off.

Got to mount the light bar today. Made two "L" brackets from a strip of 1/4 steel plate I purchased at home depot. Painted them black and mounted them to the crash bar. Originally I was going to mount them by drilling holes into the crash bar but, there were already factory holes so, I decided to use them instead of making my own. *Before mounting I took the side caps off the bar and sealed it with clear silicone. Then after screwing it back together I sealed the outer part and lens area off as well*

How the brackets look from above left and right side.

Front view, took the grill off to make it easier to mount the bar. Also having the lower grill repainted to cover up the white parts of the plastic from when I trimmed it.

Button that came with the rigid harness installed!

Tested the light before the sun was even down and you tell me what you think...:bananadead: its pretty bright! Going to test it again once its dark ill post more pics later.

Tested out the light bar tonight and man I think this is the best $50 I ever spent on anything lol! The camera isn't doing it any justice though. It can't capture everything the light is lighting up but, even with that you can tell its pretty badass.

That lower grill looks really good! Hope I can get mine as flush as yours whenever I get around to lights.

Thanks man! They are pretty good. Had mine for about a year now and no rips, no tears, nor loose fitment. It may be on the pricey side but, to be honest I had them on my '93 hilux bench seat and after 21 years the seat is still immaculate due to it having wet okole covers. The reason they were off in the pictures was because it finally did its time. That being said they last pretty long as well. It's worth the investment!

    Update on build...

Finally ordered my lift and rims! Went with the 3" Pro Comp nitro leveling kit (for now) and 17x9 Fuel Formula rims. But, the wheels are on backorder till January! :annoyed: It gives me time to save up for the goodyear kevlar tires and another good thing about it is if i'm able to save for the bakflip g2 bedcover I want I can add it to the pallet and not be charged for shipping so it kinda works out...

Also, my SCS lug nuts came in today very pleased with the quality of the product. If you're looking for lugs for your wheels Vin @SCSPerformance is the man to go to!

Nice, running the same lugs on my Konigs from FNwheels...i believe they are gorilla lugs if not mistaken.

light bar looks dope...i've thought about doing that too at one point.

Thanks man! One of my friends has it on his regular cab as well and when he told me $50 on Amazon I was like for a light bar why not... haha I see you're running cooper stt's on your truck. Im stuck between those and the goodyear kevlars. Would you be able to give me any pros/cons you've experienced since you've had them? how long do they last? Just trying to buy the right tires cause they ain't cheap so the more input I get would be appreciated thanks!
