Only Title i could think of, and here we go. This is sorta a build thread but rather what i'm doing to my truck. I 1st wanted a tacoma when i was 19 and everyone had a truck and putting lifts and putting off-road tires on, going offroading in f150s with a 2 in' lift and 35's with 300.000 miles on it with is amazing to say the least, the f250 had a 9 lift, and 36'' nittos, and more f150's
so eveyone had a ford, but i really liked chevy's, i liked the way they looked and not have the same as my friends, so i started looking online and going around to dealers and seeing all used lifted jeeps and chevy's, i have gone to just about every used car dealer here in raleigh, i kept looking because all the trucks for sale are old have about 70,000+ miles so i notice i didn't want to start a build, with someone else work there (i don't know why, guess i just wanted to do it myself). So new truck it is seeing the new chevy's online i notice the price differences between new/old, the old chevy's ranged from 1000 - 15,000$, while the new trucks cost 40,000+ (i know there are cheaper new chevy's but i'd want a crew cab, and alot of bell's and whistles, New truck N all). Anyway this went on for a while until i had gone up to the blue ridge parkway for a motobike trip with a group of friends(I have a cbr600f4i) i just happen to see the nice's looking mean red tacoma ever, and i loved it.

So i got back home and looked up tacomas and what did i find, www.tacomaworld.com Yup looked up a few builds and i really like the travlers build page and thought it was the coolest.

Stated to look up new tacomas seeing OFFROAD/SPORT/SR and whatnot, looking at all the options they had, how much HP and kinds of packages, seeing it didn't come in v8's which sucked really,
the one thing i did see is that new tacomas come around 30,000 and old tacoma come around 15 to 20k so i really liked that ,

i knew i had to have a tacoma now seeing all the amazing thread's on here offroading, modding, lifts, and the commitiy on here, of course the offroad tacoma had my attention with lockers' but i wanted a scoop, i just did i like the look, so on my way to buy a tacoma here i went to test drive one a white one, eveything the guy told i told him i knew i asked for somthing i knew the answer too and answered it my self, i was really excited to have found a great truck, when i was leaving the dealer i just happen to see the 2013 xsp-x and i didn't like it i thought it have potential if they have done other things to it, but it was nice just not for me(lol)

Anyway,(i'll add more later between that time & when i actually brought my truck.) So if you read all that i'm sorry here are some pics :D

    lost some pictures ..wtf....

Gotcha. I just thought it was one of those 17 year old flat bill hat wearing douchebag in mostly stock trucks kind of fad.

@jmaack wouldn't know of any fads that involve 17 years or flat bill wearing douches, unless it s my hilux cap.
or the stock truck shit, but yeah if you looking for the cone it might still be there.
