If you fill up in Twin I sure hope you do it at the Twin/Jerome exit and not the Twin/Kimberly exit. The Travelers Oasis there seriously charges 30 cents more per gallon that both exits on either side! If anything hit the 2nd Burley exit (the exit right before you hit the interchange and head for Utah instead of Poky) and get gas at Luv's. One of the cheaper stations in that whole area.

I'd like to but at this point it would be wasted money... I only ever use my CB when I go to Moab, so once ever so far... I'm sure I would use my ham about the same...

I find my self listening to the repeaters instead of my own radio, kind of neat to hear what some people are going on and on about

What is the cost and headache to get a license for HAM?
Ever heard a number station yet?

I spent two Saturdays in a row around 12 to 13 hours between the two days learning about the course / exam

It cost me 10 bucks and than I was passed

There are lots of places to shop for quality parts, my main place I'll be shopping at is radioworld

Amazon is great for ham radios! Not to mention at least around here, the ham community is extremely helpfull, in all aspects of the community. A lot of them are lonely old guys that really dont have much better to do, but they are still fun to listen to
