Haha, well said. I've been told I drive like a grandpa so I seldom break anything. Sooner it later it happens to all of us though.
The amount if shit I see broken in the Southern California deserts is astonishing. Add a Bro-Ho to a group and the testosterone goes into overdrive and all sense goes out the window.

I'm sure there are people doing all levels of difficulty. I bet you could probably do some of the 7's btw, at least from the looks of them.

I don't think my truck is quite moab ready. Anyone passing through elko on 80 or somewhere close? I would love to go, and I'll help with fuel and I can take pics!

MOAB has something for everyone you may not be ready for the harder trails but your truck can have a good time on a lot of trails. You can always drive out and ride shotgun with someone on a hard run day.

It would be a prefect place to prepare my truck for a high clearance rear bumper. :spy: I just get super worried about breaking shit and not being able to get home. I have zero extra parts.

It's still pretty far away, but I'll probably be passing through there and alone since my wife seems uninterested. I can probably swoop you up. I'll keep you posted

I think you will be surprised how many trails there are that would be doable on a stock Tacoma let alone how yours is setup now. My 1st year I just had 33's, a 3" lift and no armor and had a blast on several trails with no issues whatsoever.

Here is a pic of how our group was setup that year and we had no issues.

i might as well just bring down my entire spare rear axle. guess if something goes wrong with my 8" i will have my 8.4. oh, if konsta brings his diesel and his taco ill just throw the axle on his rig and let him tow it down.
dont let any talk of hard trails or carnage scare anyone away! there is stuff for everyone, even if you have a stock ass truck!

I want to do 7 mile the first day, it was my first trail in moab and i would like to give it another whirl. Great intro trail, nothing serious, tons of fun. Maybe if people arrive a day early or something we could get a group together to go if nobody else wanted to?

oh i cant want to see the comparison of that same group this summer

come on guys. you all have to be there...for a reunion sake!

My lack of skids would be my biggest hindrance.

i dont have skids (except the stock one). unless you plan on doing trails like Pritchett or harder its not really an issue

Ok so I'm a no0b and I want to go to this... I just got my truck on monday and I can't wait to start the mods. It's good to know there are easy trails... I can't wait. I've been reading along this thread and all over this forum.
I can't even decide what the first mod should be... How capable would a stock Taco with 275/75/16s be out there?

I went without sliders of all things and never came close to touching. Most of it is smooth rolling terrain. As long as you stay on the "not hard" trails, lack of skids won't be an issue. Most of the easier trails have bypasses for everything as well. So if you don't like an obstacle just bypass it.
