2014 Rock Therapy - Official Thread

It would actually be a cool way to travel to Moab for anyone coming from the east. There are a few overnight trails or groups of trails that happen yearly but I don't remember anyone doing that (Kokopelli) mid-meet last year.

 

There was talk but it kinda died out because it'd be a couple night run... another nice overnight one would be the Lockhart Basin rd... I think I'm gonna do both if I can get some company... def gonna do the white rim.

I've thought about staying in Colorado and just wheeling/getting things organized until the 25th and then leaving the 26th and taking the Kokopelli to Moab... wanna join?

 

I can't even go to the meet this year (I know, I'm a pretty involved lurker) due to work and other obligations that won't let me leave CO until 6/1. I am trying to get a secondary trip together for anyone else in my situation over Father's Day weekend. So far nobody else has said they can/wants to go looks like maybe Moab won't happen for me this year. I will keep trying though.
The next time I go to Moab I really want to try to take the Kokopelli trail on my way in though!

 

i keep seeing a bunch of jeeps on trailors headed west towards moab for EJS. makes me excited to head that direction too!

 

Good thing I won't be near internet for a majority of ejs so I'll miss a lot of the teases.

Then week and a half after I get back I get to play in Moab

The overnight is not definite. Not sure my timing will work out. I need to finalize my pre-RT section before I know.

 

damn... well if Moab doesn't work out... maybe you can jump into my COBDR trip

Either Tuesday night, or Wednesday morning. Only have wed-fri off work.

Would work perfect to start Wednesday in Colorado and wheel my way into Moab

 

I'll already be there by then... :\ but I may be interested in making the trip back up... maybe we can get a few more of the Colorado crew interested

 

the welds look like welds. shitty or not i don't usualy grind a weld down t make it look good. more of a oh shit that glob is now in the way is what i did

 

You should take pride in your welding ability and at least clean them up if people can see them. I wish I could weld, I would spend a lot more money on my truck making stuff since I'm out of work.
