2014 Rock Therapy - Official Thread

Within the last two weeks, I got my bumper mounted, new wheels and tires, sliders painted and welded on, diff drop installed, tires mostly cleared, need to trim the pinch welds a little more and cut part of my body to clear them. I also have a CB on its way this week and depending on where i'm at financially, pending old parts selling, moar truck pawrts. Anyways, back to your regularly scheduled BS.

I got some goodies this weekend. Just need to wire everything up.

When I opened the box I was like... this might be too much...

 

I need those little amber rigids for turn signals in the front. That way everyone in a 10 mile radius will know I'm turning

 

It's so he can see at night. I want some so bad. Good mounting location too.

There is a guy on here who is selling light bars and spot lights kind of cheep for the size. They come with a harness too. I'm going to pick up a 20" flood spot combo for $215 shipped one of these days and mount in on the top of my bumper. That should be enough.

 

Did you put a clear wind deflector up? Looks like it but I'm on a phone so can't tell for sure

 

You know, there is a point where the human brain can no longer process how many lumens are being projected. Not that yours is too much but I love seing people with like 50k+ lumens. Your brain cannot process that so you will never even see it, it will be just as bright as 40k or 30k.

Lol I run with my duallys in my bumper on at night all the time. They recessed in my bumper so I really don't get flashed.

Yeah there is a polycarbonate wind deflector. Much quieter with it on.

Good to know. I might be approaching that mark. lol the windshield ones will be turned 45* out when not in an urban jungle.

 

Nah, you are good man. Eevryone is different and thats a pretty general statement but I do th same thing with mine when not on the road. Turn em out.

 

There's a few of us doing the Kokopelli starting on the 28th... you could probably meet us the 29th to do it
