yeah im sure ill lead a trail again this year. if theres interest ill lead a hells again. but i wanna run kanes again Bob, that trail is awesome.

 

I will probably be getting there a day or two after the meet starts, just like last year. Hopefully you lead hells towards the end so I can run it with you and take advantage of your excellent spotting. I loved Kane creek too, the watery section was sweet and then the final big climb made me feel like a boss.

 

Drinking should be fine, but like someone said just don't get drunk, you don't want to get busted for it when you're having a good day.

 

I'd really like to run Hells but would definitely like an experienced spotter for that. I don't want to drive 800 miles home without any windows. This is my 1st Moab run so I'll be looking for good leaders and spotters but will definitely want to do the more challenging runs with a scenic one or two mixed in.

 

I had nothing but good spotters when I went out for my first time last year. For an awesome scenic run, do top of the world. Amazing views from the top

 

You wanna do all of them, trust me. I wanted to do two or three per day but I had an infant daughter and a preggo wife so I only got to do three total when I was there

 

You'd be fine on hells, nothing to really hurt you there. Unless you plan on doing hells gate or the escalator

They appear to be the "pick the right line and you'll be fine" kind of obstacles. It all looks easier on video though. Can't wait to see this stuff in person

 

I have seen some videos that make it look deadly, others look like a locker or two makes it pretty easy

 

I want to see you guys attempt the escalator

 

It looks pretty tough, no doubt about that. Maybe I'll follow your line

 

Okay never mind. I always get hells gate and escalator mixed up. I think the gate is doable in the limo but escalator might be a little much.

Looks very much like a one wrong move kinda spot. So many things can go wrong, just a little slip, lost bead, stall out, brain or ass fart and your fuct. Seems like a cage required obstacle.

 

Strong attitude. That is commended. But both Hells Gate and and Escalator if taken lightly have enough roll over power to take a life. A good spotter and a light gas peddle foot will make a safe passage.

i can u up both.... hell half the damn group did escalator last year. indimidating yes, need a good spotter yes, difficult to drive up not really.

what r u a girl or something bunch of us first gens went right up both of them!

 

I'm glad that I'm finally at an age that I have accepted that I can't conquer everything, my junk ain't that big and I gotta get back to work on Monday. I just try to have fun with a good challenge and drive my pile back home when it's over
