A bumper here, some tires there..... you know, stuff.
both hell's gate and escalator were really fun/challenging obstacles last year, but i'm not entirely sure i would have attempted them without the spotting from Jace and Ben.

i do agree with Eric though, they do have the potential for some serious consequences.

Hmmm, interesting. Looks like approach angle on escalator would be a challenge. Do you have vids? Id love to do it but looks questionable from the outside looking in, remember I've never been there.

Don't go on the same runs as me. I don't make a stink about it, but I won't lie I'm not a fan of drinking on the trail. Save it for camp. If you can't wait that long, you have problems.

You'll have a blast. Hells Revenge is not a difficult trail really except for a few of the optional spots. But it's a "must-do" trail IMO, such a great slickrock experience.

I was hoping you would say that. Most of the vids I have seen are end over end rollovers. My rig is long enough that I am not worried about that but also makes any tight turns to gain good approach, etc. a lot tougher.

If you can't drive with a light foot, Moab will be a mess for you. Very few places in Moab where lots of throttle is your friend. Bring lots of spare parts......and a trailer.

....and try leaving the attitude in Texas. Utah's not big enough ;)

Drinking on the trails is discourged at this event. It cannot be enforced simply because of free will, but we ask that all participants act responsible and use common sense.

Been there done that, in the dark, with a rear bumper that was basically just tacked together and no skids.

Glad you were joking and it helped us bring up a point avout the event a bit more casually. Thank you.

Don't take it personal. Rocket takes drinking whilst wheeling very serious, this same type of conversation came up in last years thread too. It is just in everyone's best interest to keep it safe. Even if nobody gets hurt, an incident just slows everything down and most of the best trails are so long that getting stopped for a few hours can mean finishing a tough trail in the dark and it gets even more dangerous. We all like to joke around but some topics are just not worth joking about. Besides, these trails are so much fun I typically don't even feel like drinking, I had an adrenaline rush for like 5 hours straight on both Kane creek and and fins and things and those aren't even the most hardcore trails.
Box rocket, have you had a bad experience on a run involving drinking that makes this a sensitive subject? Just wondering.

I stand by my first comment. Enjoy your beer and enjoy trails that I'm not on.
