    I'm in the guard, I don't get vacation time because I only work "1 weekend a month and 2 weeks a year" :fineprint: "and sometimes those weekends are 4-5 days long and those 2 weeks become 4 weeks, and you have to go to this 2 week school here also and this week long training here also and etc, etc..."

    Last year I couldn't go because they scheduled my Warrior Leadership Course I needed for my Sgt rank that I had been trying to get into for 3 years... Can't say no at that point or I would have got demoted for not having WLC completed before having a year in that pay grade...
