2014 Rock Therapy Trail Planning

If you have groups already sorted out, there is no need for sign ups.

If you have a group set up for a run and are able to take a few more trucks, you can get with us at the main tent and we'll include the run on the board.

We'll have a marker board at the main tent that can be used for planning.

I may also print out a list of the major trails for upcoming days to get the groups going for a couple days in advance on the larger trails...

If you have a trail in mind that you wanted to hit up for the next day or a couple days in advance, come see us at the tent and we'll throw it up as an available trail and get some others signed up for it.

Hmmm seems I have been excluded form my own side group.... I am going on the ones that you have RCtoy and Rocktoy on

 

Put me down for:

Kanes Creek with You guys, You already got me on Cliff Hanger, I am in for Hells Revenge with Pelfreybilt, and (BTR or trifecta). I have seen Trifecta Before.

I am a little nervous about BTR, although I feel that it is me and not the truck that isn't ready.

 

popular trails will have multiple days to run. there should be 6-10 trails each day.

 

I am looking for some info on BTR from any of you guys who have ran it before.

I read trail damage already

It's easy. You can avoid the worst(most fun) obstacles like high dive and upchuck. If you have a locker you're good.

Pete you will be fine!!!! You have a beast of a truck so you will have no problems.

 

I want to do Kanes again this year, Moab Rim and Cliffhanger for sure. Undecided about anything else.

 

Oh and one super easy scenic trail for Jasons truck haha

I have both front at rear lockers so I want to do the harder stuff. I put way to much money into my truck this year to just puss out. lol

Haha! I would like to run as many trails with the rock ninja as possible.

My girlfriend is going to be taking one day off to hang out in town while I go do a trail. I am a horrible judge of time so I need some estimates. She would prefer to skip the "Scariest" trail. So I am assuming Cliff Hanger is the scariest because of well the cliff, Plus it is only 4.24 miles so it shouldn't be a 8 hour run... right?

How long do you think these all take to Run?

Cliff Hanger (4.24 miles long)
BTR (29 Miles long)
Moab Rim (6.6 Miles long)

 

I don't want to do them in any kind of a rush. I want to enjoy them, take pictures and all that good stuff. So Factor in like normal time, not in a rushed manor.

 

BTR I know is an all day trail. Aside from the major obstacles torward the end that everyone knows there are obstacles all over the place throughout the trail with a lot of varrying terrain to drive on and obstacles all over the place. I certainly want to make sure I get that one in this year.
