Hey everyone. 1st this forum has helped me go from nerd to truck nerd. Everything from finding the right tires and lift to tail lights headlights and stereo installation! You all are rock stars.

But back to my topic... I've been had an issue with the Tacoma holding pressure with the AC. So I took it to one shop they said it was all good filled me up and on I went. 2 days later nothing but hot air. So I take it to another shop they pressure test and go oh it's this valve thing under the glove box. They swap it out fill me up and boom 2 days later no cool air. Finally I take it to the shop everyone of my coworkers recommended. They say bad news it's a evap core. They take the dash apart and replace the part. It blows cold air.... My stereo is all out of wack, my steering wheel controls are in responsive, and worst of all it's stuck in 4wd high.

What should I do? Is it coencidence ? Why would it even be in 4wd at the shop? Need some advice on how to move forward.

Sounds like they maybe forgot to plug something back in or got a connector swapped somewhere (Toyota uses the same connectors within reach of each other sometimes), I would take it back to them first and see if they will make it right.

Take it back to the shop that did the work and tell them to check all the connections in the dash.
