    Hey all,

New member here and to the taco family as well. I don’t usually like to admit defeat but here it goes: My 2014 Tacoma TRD off-road has a slight shake coming from the front end at 60, 80mph. It had a 4” strut lift with blocks when I first bought it with wide 20” rims and mud tires. (105k miles)(118k now)

The truck shook pretty bad then but only when hitting bad spots in the road. I noticed at certain speeds that the truck had a distinct vibration coming from the front end area. This vibration has led me down the rabbit hole of replacing components. I replaced the wheels with stock 16s.I removed the lift and went back with stock struts and shocks. The shake was still there afterwards.
So far I have replaced the following: UCAs, LCAs, tie end rods, sway bar links, rack & pinion bellows, new wheels, rotors, u-joints, carrier bearing, ECGS bushing swap, new CV axles, flushed all diff fluids.

The shaking has definitely gotten a lot better but I still have a slight annoying vibration at around 60 and 80mph. The wheels have been balanced by several different shops so I’m ruling them out. Someone suggested wheel bearings but they don’t make any noise or have any movement when I wiggle the wheel back and forth. Basically the whole front end has been replaced except for the wheel bearings though. Any ideas? Suggestions? Similar experiences?

Welcome to Tacoma World. You said the "rack & pinion bellows" have been replaced. What about the entire rack & pinion? Rack bushings? This can be a source of the wobbles too. Steering intermediate shaft? Wheel bearings can definitely do it too but vibrations are always a subjective thing so hard to say for sure.

Let us know the status of the intermediate steering shaft.
I've found a road-force balance on the tires works best with Tacomas, in the least with mine.
