2014 tacoma AC acting weird

Hey guys, theres a million threads here so im hoping that im not annoying you guys with a answered question.

Basically i bought a used 2014 tacoma last week. I turn on the AC, it blows cool air when the AC light is on. But after a few seconds of cool air, the AC light starts to blink, then the cool air turns into warm air. I basically have to turn off the AC and turn it back on. Then it repeats itself, solid light = cool air, blinking light = warm air. Its really annoying, is there a reason behind this? Ive never had this problem before with any other cars. Im hoping you guys can relate to this issue.

Welcome! I got my 2013 used & @ 70k the AC shit the bed. I got it fixed @ a dealer & normally when the AC shits the bed it displays 2 characteristics. Mine squealed like a banshee & smelled funny. Compressor, clutch & tensioner was bad. $1700 fix. Then your problem which is described on here a lot. Probably not as bad as mine but will need to see a certified AC tech soon. Dont turn it on anymore. Don’t fret - it’s okay! You got a badass truck!

Thanks brother. Damn thats a hefty fix. I was playing around with the relays the other day and haven't experienced it every since???? I have no freaking clue.. but like you said, Im worried if itll get worst?? I certainly hope not. I also read a lot of the comments on that one thread and it sounds like a serious issue with tacomas :/
