2014 Tacoma Dbl cab Audio Upgrade

The non jbl system in my truck has to go, getting a list ready and one thing I want to add are subwoofers. Actually just one 10" that can fit behind the backseat on the drivers side. Ive seen those custom ones for 600+,too rich for me and Mr Marvs products that are pricey too but well made. I would like to know if anyone has installed one of those "shallow mount subwoofer enclosures" ?? There are few from pioneer,kicker,rockford fosgate etc. Im not looking in rattling the windows just a modest setup to complete the audio spectrum and the ease of disconnecting the two wires and taking the sub inside the house. I have installed one they are called Stealthbox and it sounds pretty good but it's only bass and over-powering. I can take a picture if you like.
