2014 Tacoma Fog Lights

Hey all,

I purchased a 2014 Tacoma recently that did not come with factory installed fog lights. I have looked over the vehicle and it appears it is not pre-wired for the fog lights. Has anyone found their 2014 regular cab 4WD Tacoma with pre wiring?

Before I purchase the wiring kits I was hoping someone could confirm this in case I missed something while I was looking through my truck.

I just purchased a 2014 Double Cab and am wondering the same thing. I know it's pre-wired for some stuff, but not sure what.

 

I didn't think my truck was pre-wired for fogs until I dove headfirst into the job with a full install kit from Auer. I found connectors for the lamps and pigtails for switches behind one of the unused (blank) switch slots in the dash and now I'm under the impression that it was. I completed the aftermarket install and never did end up trying to plug the pigtail into the switch I had to try it out.... My truck is an sr5 for the record. I'm looking forward to hearing what others have to say!

 

I crawled under the front this morning and found the wiring with connectors all neatly secured above the fog light area, and attached to the back of the left-most switch blank on the dash, was the other end of the harness. Looks like I am pre-wired.

My unit is a 2014, convenience package, double cab, short bed, 4X4 with V6.

 

In the earlier model Tacomas like the 2008 I had, the V6 models were pre-wired, but the 4 cyls were not. I don't know if that changed with the 2012 design change. Sorry, this probably isn't much help.

 

I bought an 2014 double cab SR5 model , 2 x 4 , with V-6 and mine came pre wire for the Fog lights.
